Oh dear, oh dear. Any thoughts on when our section of the server is going to be available again? How long will it be? 1 to five minutes? About two hours as was mentioned about two hours ago? About two more hours?

J, I agree with you, but this is beginning to turn into a very worrying outage indeed. Any idea how long this has been going on? I only noticed the problem a couple of hours ago.

Unhappy Meanwhile...

... stuff isn't coming into my backup gmail account either (mail to @mydomain is also copied to my gmail account). Dang it, I thought I was safe.

Are you able to send email?
I can send, but not receiving anything.
I can send, but I'm seeing big delays with that as well. Incoming email is trickling in now, as mentioned in another post.

Cheers,
Ian

Could this be affecting the incoming emails as well?

That is my greatest concern. I tried sending a mail to my fastmail account from another account. It didn't bounce, but I have no way of telling if it arrived either. Possibly any incoming is just disappearing into the ether.

Now at five hours since the last status update. No update on when it will be done. Configuration is obviously stored on these servers, because my incoming mail is only sporadically being forwarded, which I had hoped was my ace in a hole if I couldn't use POP.

Gosh, i may go back to hosting my own email again, which I thought I was able to finally get away from when i switched to Fastmail.

What's the timetable on the new, new servers running? I mean, I thought this was resolved several weeks ago.
