New Account Options
Since the server updates we now have extra options available, that will allow us to renew, or downgrade our accounts (for various periods of time) I am looking at options for the long term, and have a couple of questions please:
Is it possible to upgrade or downgrade and purchase extra storage space at the same time? To save transaction fees. Will people with Full or Enhanced Accounts, be allowed to downgrade to member status. (I hope nobody wants to) but I thought that I would ask the question. |

Basically the way it works is that you get credit for your unused service portion, and that's contributed towards the cost of whatever level you move to. Rob |

Flexibility: Online companies talk about it, and brag about it; but Fastmail gives it to you; straight up. So, I can downgrade to 'Member' status; and buy extra storage and bandwidth; and never pay another cent. I will not be doing that, but I may have to one day; its nice to know that I can. I believe there was another thread that discussed downgrading to member. Not sure that it's possible.

I'd like to see all of the Purchase options clustered onto one page. That way, the user selects everything that they want to purchase, and then the transaction proceeds from there. Yes, this could be a bit overwhelming, but I think it makes sense, too.
I don't understand why it is that the "Credit Card Details" section should appear on the Renewals page, but for Upgrade/Downgrade the credit card transaction happens on a separate page. Also, why is it that I can enter my credit card details on the Add Funds or the Renewals page, but I can only clear my credit card details on the Renewals page? For automatic renewals, you need to be able to put your credit card details somewhere. Rob |
