Gmail redirection failed to lavabit. Yahoo better?

If lavabit fail to get the redirected emails from gmail???
would it work better if I redirect to yahoo?

I went to the "Tool Cogwheel button" on gmail
and told it to send a copy to my working lavabit
account that I use daily. It failed to get to the inbox
of lavabit and not into the scrap trash bin too.

Could that be lavabit's slepticism to anything gmail
or Google knowing not being liked by lavabit or me
doing some error when setting it up. It does look
as if I have set it up properly though.

Maybe I should set it up to redirect to a yahoo account instead?
What that work better?

Do you have this address 'whitelisted' at Lavabit, or in your Lavabit address book. That might help.

Ooops I did not even know lavabit had such things?
Could it be that I am on the wrong free service?
I mean lavabit has four different service levels.

http://lavabit.com/

So I should go into settings? and change something there?
I take a look. Good you told me.

It seems to ahve Grey or Gray listing but not white listing.
I see nothing that would help me add to addressbook?

I get email extremely seldom to my gmail
so that is why I want to redirect them to
an email service that I log into more often.

Maybe I can import from gmail then
setting up pop in yahoo? is that possible?
I should look for to import to yahoo and
let yahoo redirect the import to lavabit?

Edit whoa bad planning by Drew
Gmail, Yahoo and Lavabit does not go
well together. I fail to tell Gmail to redirect
to both lavabit and to yahoo. None work.

And neither lavabit nor yahoo can import
from google?

I trust that Outlook.com maybe can do it
but how do I join a yahoo group using a outlook.com
email address?

Edit again This is much more difficult
that what I thought. Read about this guy.

one should start maybe here.

Seems not to be easy at all. I guess the simpler solution
then is to just let it be as I have it now? No big deal?

Nope I failed to set up hotmail to
dowload emails from gmail into
the inbox of hotmail.

Gmail did not allow them to pop them.

And I tried to follow instructions given
at both hotmail and gmail how to solve it
and it still failed. So I have to give up.

Haha I have to tell those that know me at
gmail to send to lavabit and yahoo and hotmail instead.

I would think that they had an address book (at least) Drew, but possibly they do not....

Allow pop3 access from gmail's settings. Its very unlikely that hotmail can't fetch via pop.

just1acc, I thought so too but after three failures I give up on it.
I did my best to follow their instructions and suggestions to get it going.
Each time Gmail tells me that an unauthorised attempt to pull my emails
have been registred from Hotmail and do follow these instructons and
test again.
Which I did and it still failed three times. Three should be enough?

Another problem with lavabit.

One forum sent me an activation email
but it never entered the inbox.

I asked them to send another and that failed too.

So when I wanted to join another forum then I
asked them to send to hotmail instead and that worked
so maybe I should change to old faithful MS

Sad because I liked to use lavabit.

Just keep one gmail for forum-newsletter registration (forward those to lavabit), they never got failed. Use lavabit for personal use. No webmail provider can give you AIO facility.

It does not work for me. Gmail does not forward
to lavabit. Maybe it would work to forward to Hotmail?

I give them a day more to send the activation email to
hotmail instead of to lavabit to see if it where them
that fail to send or lavabit and hotmail that refused
to accept it in case they have some text that is flagged
as spam by the filters. Other forums activation emails
just worked well.

Yes I almost only had gmail for years but I don't like
their privacy policy.
