Even if the teaches in question could not control her pupils, she may possibly have been able to wiggle her ears.

Realistically speaking, is it possible to EARN one's living if one's very good at ear-wiggling?

Today is the 200th anniversary of the start of the War of 1812, which involved the US, Great Britain, and their Canadian territories. I should WARN my northern friends that we Yanks employed a warrior pig in the hostilities. I don't know if our pig soldiers could wiggle their ears.

I do believe that - wary war pigs have even been used to fight war elephants (in the past) Luckily the piggy in question never made it across the lake.

It still pays to use a fountain pen these days, especially if you are applying for a job with an 'old school' company. There are millions of them around - still.

I will PASS on using a fountain pen, they are far too messy. I am glad that some of the old-fashioned things in life are still being used though; one example is the fact that I shocked many people last night using an old style camera with film to take pictures are our daughter's grade eight graduation.
I will still buy the disc/cd to upload the pics to the computer to email to friends/family/her facebook, etc but yes, not all old technology is outdated! |

We shouldn't CAST away everything from the past. Last weekend I participated in a North America Amateur Radio contest (Field Day) using Morse code on shortwave radio. My radio is about 20 years old.

I have an old (early) 'Swan' vacuum tube ham radio, that I do care about an awful lot. As I have recently moved house, I need to rehang my dipole antenna before I use it again.
