Hi cwazynet,

Welcome aboard!

I didn't see that the cwazy.net name was available.

I only saw four or five names that were not very appealing.

Thanks anyways.

I need to talk to our marketing guy about how exactly he's marketing our site - there will be no more "new signups" with a single posting.

Steve..

The offer is still there. I just don't want it promoted with comment spam..

I was referring to "new signups" on Edwin's forum with a single advertising post.

My mistake - thanks for clarifying that Steve.

I don't know if I qualify or not, but I have tried three times now to register an account and I can't seem to do so.

After registering an accepted user name, the next screen says it will take a few minutes to register the account.

It then redirects back to the home page, but after inputting my user name and password, I get an error message that says, "unknown user or password incorrect".

Other times, after inputting my user name and password, instead of that error message I am simply redirected back to the home page.

Oh well.....................

Drop me a private message with the username you were trying and I'll look in the logs to see what the problem is.

The one account that I tried to register is now working.
Thank you.
The other two accounts were different names and they still do not work, which is fine. I assume only one account is allowed.
I got the main name that I wanted, so all is well.

Thanks again

If you get a minute and can drop me a PM with a nonworking username I would quite like to find out why they didn't work - even if you don't want them
(if you've had the problem then other people probably have as well)

The website is currently being redesigned (http://www.cwazy.net/newsite/) so I've got a good opportunity to change things right now.

Never heard of this provider but given the interest of EMD members I assume this is a quite reliable email provider?

One thing is how to pronounce the domain - I can see this cause confusion in mouth-to-mouth exchange of email addresses.

On the signup page, one is asked to enter the "email address" that one would like, and to select a domain from several less-than-enticing choices. So far, so good (more or less). Then, in the next field, one is asked to enter the "desired username and password - this will be used to log into your account with." Normally, a "username" *is* the first part of the email address, separated from the domain by @, e.g.: username@domain.extension. Cwazy.net, by contrast, seems to be using "email address" to mean what most other providers mean by "username," and they seem to be using "username" to mean a separate login name (not necessarily the name that usually precedes the username in outgoing mail, which can be a subscriber's real name or a nickname or whatever). Would the Cwazy.net rep or others who have subscribed please clarify this? It is ambiguous and somewhat confusing, and it definitely differs from established nomenclature.
