Need Email Solution for Small Business

We have been using Yahoo Small Biz web hosting and business email since 2006. We use it with Outlook using POP. With the recent issues with Yahoo, we are looking to make a change to a more reliable, honest provider who will at least tell us the truth about the issues they are having. I was on the phone with Yahoo 3 times in the past two days with no mention of their recent outage, I had to read about on Twitter and blogs. They lack of customer service and the fact that I have permanently lost emails that I may never see again is not how I run my business. I have looked at Gmail and GoDaddy for a paid business email service but I am scared to make a change that may end up being worse. Any suggestions? We only need about 10 email address and I would like to pay less than $15 a month. I am not an IT person nor do we have one on payroll but I know enough to be dangerous and I can at least configure an email account.
Thanks for the help!
Amanda

One suggestion (among many) would be to look into PolarisMail. You can PM George B at this forum and see what he might be able to do for you.

Rackspace Email might be a good option as well. Regular cost is $2/mailbox but if you submit a ticket asking for the 'Spiceworks' discount the price drops to $1/mailbox. There is an additional charge of $1/mailbox for those mailboxes that you may need Activesync to sync mail, contacts, and calendar to mobile phones (note: you don't have to pay for Activesync for all mailboxes...just the ones that need it).
