I set up an account with a four character username and confirmed that the account can send and receive messages properly. They provide 100 MB of email storage and it’s a pretty simple webmail system. I find it to be interesting that their help describes their system as a service which logs into your existing email account, but the email service I signed up for is a free independent email service. They just use my existing email account as a recovery backup.

Now I have set up a second account with a different four character username. You must use a different recovery address to set up more than one account. Of course, with aliases and subdomain addresses (Fastmail) that’s easy.
