Thanks for taking the time to write about this!

I tried to look for information about what this "Scan secured connections" is and I found this:

This is the key part: "To detect malware and threats on HTTPS sites, Avast must remove the SSL certificate and add its self-generated certificate."

So they are trying to insert themselves as a Man-In-The-Middle Proxy to investigate the traffic and that does not work with our systems.
