Sorry for delay in responding. I simply get the 5 bars in the middle of the screen, doing their waves (ie 'Fastmail is loading') - but this never stops.
Fastmail have said that I need a different password to log in to app.fastmail.com (the new site) with the iPad, rather than fastmail.com. The new site works fine with my old Windows computer running Windows 7. I have gone through the steps they give me to get a new password (generated by their system) but this does not work. However they seem to be on the case, It has been escalated to a 'tier 3' expert - he hasn't succeeded yet but I still in correspondence online with him. I can't be the only user with an older iPad, but I seem to be the one helping them make their system compatible.
