I have two Yahoo accounts myself, one being Yahoo.ie (the Irish version -- I live in N.Ireland myself)
Today, when trying to access my mails during the break at work, I saw the server had problems:
- first I went to
http://mail.yahoo.ie and entered my password and username, and tried signing in. But instead of accessing my account, I got a screen saying there was a network error (a completely blank screen with black characters, an error message by the browser it seems)
- after a while, during next break at work, I tried signing in again and this time it was succesful. I read my mails without problems, then selected the 'log out' option. Normally you then get a Yahoo page saying "you have succesfully closed your mailbox". However, this page couldn't be found, and I got the network error page again.
It is definitely not an error from the PC at work, because I can access all other websites without issues.
What I want to ask: is there any chance that due to not logging out correctly, the mailbox would not be closed correctly? I wouldn't want a colleague to be able to access my account. I'm a bit afraid that the next person surfing to mail.yahoo.ie could get into my mailbox. Despite never asking to remember password, I did erase the cookies and empty the cache, but I'm not entirely sure if that's sufficient. It's not that I don't trust colleagues, but I also don't feel like them being able to access my mailbox.
