I was using the beta URL. This is not occurring when I access via the normal URL so I just won't use beta for now.

As of about 4 hours ago, the original email is not showing in my web interface compose screen when I click Reply.

My quoting default is set to "Prefix >" and I have not made any changes to the web...

Ah, thanks for the clarification. When I pressed F5 I had only been typing in the body field. I didn't realize it refreshed the entire page.
