I tried on three browsers - Camino 0.8.2; Safari 1.2.4; and Firefox 1.0. My system is OS X 10.3.7. Ctrl+k works on all browsers. Ctrl+e works on none of them.

I switched to Macs in January of this and haven't look back. Got a 20" iMac and a 14" iBook. I agree with you, too ... next iBook will be a 12". Just a little easier to haul around :)
