Building a ‘HEY’-like flow
I thought there’s alread been a thread about this, but I can’t find it anymore.
Basicly I like the idea of HEY’s ‘screener’ feature very much (see hey.com/features/the-screener) and I’m wondering how to build something similar. One aproach would be creating a rule (ideally the very first one) that moves all mails from senders not in my contacts to a speacial label and skips the inbox. The only drawback here is that I’d had to add all the newsletter sender addresses to my contacts. Same for the order confirmations, notifications, etc. This would some kind of clutter up my well-maintained contacts. So, any other ideas how to achieve this? Thanks, Michael |

Remove everything not in your contacts list:
This moves* everything not in your contacts list so, Instead, you could create a rule to look for "unsubscribe" in the email and send them somewhere.

Thanks, James!
Yeah, I think will try this. The only thing here is that my contacts won’t appear in the regular Inbox. But afaik you can set notifications for other folders as well in the Fastmail app. I’ll try this for some days and see if I like it. :) |
There is a guide produced by one of the forum members
