Free .co.jp email services

Anyone know of any free .co.jp email services that don't require a japanese phone number to set up? The only one I could find was yahoo.co.jp, but it requires a phone number.

I dont think it can get a free email without a japan telephone right now.
But you can buy a .jp domain then hosting the email by yourself.

Is Yahoo allowing registrations under ccTLD's again? :confused: I remember the likes of yahoo.ie, yahoo.dk, yahoo.fr, yahoo.be, ... but I thought registrations closed long ago, with only existing users keeping their address.

Have you tried Hotmail/Outlook ? They offer registrations under ccTLD's. Not sure if you need a Japanese IP address to get it.
