Android App Freezes
Anyone else having a problem with the Android app? It loads my Inbox and then freezes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and the problem persists.
FM is working fine in my browsers on computers and Android. It's just the Android app. This just started happening. SOLVED Was able to uninstall, reboot and then reinstall and now it's working properly. When I did the uninstall before, I had not rebooted before reinstalling. |
There is an easier way to remedy many odd behaviours in FM's Android app.
Earlier this year I made a support query about a minor nuisance I was experiencing. Advice was to do this: Open Settings => Apps => Fastmail => Storage In Storage hit Clear Data and Clear Cache. When FM app is launched you will need to log-in to account again including 2FA password if account has 2FA activated. I've used the same method to sort out problems with other Android apps too. |
I had tried that and it didn't solve the problem. Only doing that, then uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling worked.
