Notify me when it's up!
This could save a good few column inches on these forums. Just put in the URL of your email service and an email address, and wait to be notified when the site's back up!

So it's not simply to harvest email addresses then? |
Just tried it with FF, IE and Chrome and it doesn't work!!!
Perhaps I need to ask it to notify me when 'notifymewhenitsup.com' is up !!! ;) |
It's not working for me either, which makes me think it's not working.
|
I have 2 gmail and 3 under other domain names and they are all up 98% of the time
I dont seem to be having all the downtimes |
Two things come to mind
1) Hasn't been working for people, makes me suspicious that it's a "harvester" 2) And most important, if you need this service don't you think it might be time to look for another email service ? Just a thought ;) |
On first glance. No thanks.
I prefer the opposite approach, have my e-mail client check my e-mail service daily. I am notified when it's down. When it starts working again I know it's backup. Mind you, that down is a rare situation with my current active e-mail accounts. I don't need an questionable service that notifies me when it's up. |
Working again!
|
I was a little suspicious at first, but welcome Harry Fear.
